Suitable applicants must:

Hold a Certificate III, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or ECT qualification (or be working towards)

Have a strong commitment to professionalism and pedagogical practice
3

Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
4

Have the ability to warmly and professionally communicate with young children and their families

Have the ability to build good working partnerships with other staff members
6

Demonstrate good social and emotional intelligence
7

Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, the National Regulations and the National Quality Framework

Hold a current Working with Children Card and current Child Protection training
9

Have current first aid / CPR, child protection, safe sleep
