Our educators are committed to continuous professional development and regularly participate in additional training to stay updated and enhance their professional practices. Where we can, we prefer to work with passionate, local family companies as this employs local people and reinvests back into our amazing Brisbane city.
Little Wishes actively seek out and engage local family companies that provide goods and services, including health and hygiene services, pest management, Childcare Complaint Cleaning Supplies, repairs and maintenance, uniforms, playscape builders, signage, local fresh food manufacturer, and fresh fruit and vegetable supplies direct from the markets. And of course, our social media creatives.
Sector Contribution
Our active advocacy for our wonderful sector underlines our unwavering commitment to the pursuit of high standards. We take immense pride in our sector and acknowledge the incredibly dedicated and caring teachers and educators that provide care and education programs for our children in care.
Our advocacy may come in the form of communication and representation to the Department of Education, the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), our State and Federal ministers and peak bodies.
Little Wishes is a voluntary and positive participant in the Nationwide Assessment of CCTV in early childhood settings, set up by the Federal Minister for Education.

The Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines are used throughout our decision making and planning to ensure children’s learning outcomes are at the forefront of the experiences provided at Little Wishes.
